María Illarramendi
PARTNER
She is a Civil Law Notary Public, graduated from the School of Law and Social Sciences of the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay in 2013.
She has completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia University in New York City in 2014-2015.
María was trained at leading law firms in the country such as Guyer & Regules and Posadas, Posadas & Vecino, having participated in major land purchase and mortgage guarantee transactions in Uruguay and advising in Corporate Financing and Project Finance, as well as Due Diligence processes, M&A transactions, and in the banking sector, supervising the granting of security interests.
Professional experience abroad: she worked at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and IDB Invest as a Project Attorney in Washington DC from 2015 to 2019, whom she continues to advise on particular projects.
She is currently a member of the Uruguayan Association of Civil Law Notaries Public and partakes in several technical commissions in the referred Association.
Inés Lueiro

She is a Civil Law Notary Public, graduated from the School of Law and Social Sciences of the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay in 2013.
Postgraduate in Notarial Update at the Universidad de Montevideo in 2014.
She teaches at the Universidad de la República in the subjects "Notarial Technique IV" and "Notarial Clinic" and has presented as a speaker in various lectures aimed at professionals.
In 2022, she actively participated in the Tenth Edition of the World Notarial University organized by the International Union of Notaries.
Previously, she worked as a Civil Law Notary Public in the Notary and Real Estate Department of the law firm Posadas, Posadas & Vecino, having under her responsibility several clients and actively participating in the structuring of real estate investments in rural and urban matters, real estate trusts, assisting in the development of important real estate, engineering and construction projects in Uruguay. Subsequently, she worked in the firms Brum Costa Abogados and Hughes & Hughes, working in their Notarial Department, advising national and international clients with extensive experience in Due Diligence processes in the context of M&A transactions.
